Founding Documents General Information

The Ohio General Assembly passed Senate Bill 165 which requires teaching founding documents of America in their original context.  The documents required are:

Declaration of Independence
Northwest Ordinance
United States Constitution (including the Bill of Rights)
Ohio Constitution

In response to this legislation, the Ohio History Connection created a series of programs and activities to assist teachers in meeting the new requirements outline in the new legislation.
