Case Histories

Designed to enhance Ohio’s Social Studies Academic Content standards, the Case History program is targeted for students at the elementary and middle school grade levels.  All cases include objects and images that relate to Ohio’s unique history. The objects in these cases are provided to inspire creative use in the classroom and are meant to encourage the application of 21st Century Skills to history and social studies curriculum.

Cases are available on a first reserved, first served basis and are loaned for a two-week period beginning on Monday. Cases must be reserved at least two weeks before the requested date to ensure availability.  All cases must be requested using the online request form and paid online by debit or credit card prior to the case being shipped.  No other form of payment will be accepted.   Once your request is received a confirmation and online payment link will be sent to you.

The fee for each case rental is $40, which covers program administration and maintenance.   Shipment to your school or organization is free.  Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the borrower.
