The ceramics collection includes objects made of stoneware, earthenware such as red ware, yellow ware, Rockingham, white ware, art pottery, ceramic tile, and porcelain such as vitreous, semi-vitreous, and industrial. The manufacturing dates for objects in this collection span the history of the state. The collection also has tools for making ceramics like ceramic molds and machinery. While focused on Ohio-made ceramics, the collection has imported English and other European ceramics that were commonly used in Ohio.
