The Ohio Historical Society History Center’s Archives/Library (OHS), the Franklin County Genealogical and Historical Society (FCGHS) and the Columbus Metropolitan Library (CML) jointly offer a series of workshops designed to introduce family history researchers to the many records and resources available to them.
The workshops will offer an in-depth review of methods, tools and sources for exploring your family’s history. A variety of workshops have been developed with topics of interest to genealogy researchers. Workshops will be held each month with some topics repeated later in the year.
Most workshops will be held at the Ohio History Center in Columbus, but some will be held at the Main branch of the Columbus Metropolitan Library. NEW THIS YEAR, we will be offering three webinar classes for attendees to join and participate in from their personal computers at home. See workshop listing below for information about the location of each presentation. Click on “View” to read a description of the workshop or register to attend.
All workshops are held on Saturdays from 10 am to 12 pm EST. For more information, please contact reference@ohiohistory.org or 614-297-2510.
