Plan Your Visit
When you visit the Ohio Historical Center to see Capture the Moment: The Pulitzer Prize Photographs, plan on three hours for the complete experience. We suggest you begin with the one-hour video program Moment of Impact. Hear the photographers themselves describe the events that lead to the moment they took their award-winning photographs. Find out what happened to the subjects in the photographs after the pictures were taken.
Children And Capture The Moment
We recommend parental discretion with regard to visiting Capture the Moment exhibition with young children. Kids will easily connect with some of the photographs that feature families and children their own age. Some of these photos capture joyful moments, while others depict dangerous and threatening situations. Those bringing young children to the exhibit should be aware that some of these images may be disturbing. It is important that an adult is along to explain the history and context.
