The 5300 Group Art Show Opening: Friday, September 26

City Windows by Karen Feinberg On Friday, September 26 from 5 to 8 PM, the 5300 Group, a newly formed circle of artists, will present an opening reception and show titled Various Visions in the new second-floor gallery at the Stowe House. This event will provide the community with a special opportunity to view the works of photographers Virginia Cox and Susan Kemp, and of painters Karen Feinberg and Carolyn Bjornson, in a uniquely historical setting. Children, students, and adults are encouraged to attend this show, which includes cityscapes and scenes from nature. Admission is free. The closing reception for the exhibit will be held at the Stowe House on Saturday, November 15 from 5 to 8 PM.

The 5300 Group display contains more than a dozen paintings by Carolyn Bjornson and group founder Karen Feinberg and more than a dozen photographic images by Susan Kemp and Virginia Cox. The group previously presented a show at St. John's Unitarian Church in Clifton.

From Labor Day through November 30, the Stowe House is open from 10 AM to 2 PM Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday. All visitors are welcome. The second-floor gallery is available for new artists' displays.
