Musical Performers Announced For Ohio Folklife Festival
Two-day festival features music, dance, food, workshops and more!

COLUMBUS, Ohio - Plans are well underway for the first-ever Ohio Folklife Festival on the grounds of Ohio Village. The September 15-16 event will include a variety of activities that have made Ohio what it is today culturally, including music, dance, food, games and more!

A partial listing of the featured music for the two-day festival will include performances by the following local or regional bands: (visit the festival website at www.ohiohistory.org/ohiofolklife for a complete listing and to learn more about the performers)

Dejavu Latin Fusion
An International melting pot of Latin jams

Blue Water Ramblers
Harmonizing through a tapestry of sound, they tell stories we love to hear

Knot Fibb’n
A unique, crisp style to the traditional Irish-American music scene

Plum Creek String Band
Playing post-modern Appalachian-Jamaican groove music/

Lonesome Meadow Band
A powerful presentation of original, traditional Indian and Middle Eastern music

High Street A Capella
A contemporary men’s octet that performs a wide repertoire that includes, classical, choral, rock, pop, and jazz

Sweetwater
Three women with powerful harmony blended with traditional instruments

C. Keith Collins
A multi-instrumentalist who is known for playing the “big music” native to the Gaelic-speaking world.

Baba Jubal Harris
A highly interactive storyteller who brings song, rhythm and powerful heritage together in the celebration of life
