Take A Bite Out Of Summer At Adena Mansion & Gardens
A Taste of Ohio's Heritage Aug. 16 Features Homegrown Tomatoes and All-Ohio Food
(CHILLICOTHE, Ohio, August 4, 2008) – The best summer foods are homegrown. That's especially true in Ohio. Taste-test several varieties of heirloom tomatoes fresh from garden and try samples of other great Ohio-made food at A Taste of Ohio’s Heritage Aug. 16 from 6 - 8 p.m. at Adena Mansion and Gardens.
Featuring products from A Taste of Ohio, seasonal favorites like hamburgers, pasta salad and beverages using Ohio products and Adena's savory tomatoes and herbs will be served. Guests will experience great food and learn new ways to make your summer parties a hit with your guests.
The event takes place at the Adena Museum and Education Center, 847 Adena Road in Chillicothe. Cost is $25 for adults, $20 for Ohio Historical Society and Adena Friends members. For reservations, call 800.319.7248.
